Homeowners, interior designers, and architects work with us because we pair real craftsmanship with professional project management — clear communication, clean jobsites, and finished work that holds up.We are looking for a Production Manager / Field Supervisor who can take ownership of projects in the field and make sure they are completed on time, on budget, and to Palette Pro's quality standards.This is not a position for someone who needs to be constantly managed. We need a proactive problem solver who can lead painting crews, coordinate subcontractors and other trades, communicate professionally with clients, and keep multiple projects moving.What You'll Be Responsible ForProject & Field ManagementManage multiple active painting, remodeling, and construction projects from production kickoff through completionVisit job sites regularly and maintain strong control of field operationsCoordinate painters, employees, subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and project schedulesReview project scope before work begins and ensure crews understand expectationsDevelop and maintain project schedules and short term look ahead plansIdentify potential delays or problems early and take action before they impact the projectCoordinate site access, material deliveries, inspections, and other project requirementsKeep projects moving efficiently from one phase to the nextEnsure painting projects have the proper labor, materials, equipment, colors, finishes, and site preparation before production beginsQuality ControlInspect painting, remodeling, and construction work throughout every stage of the project, not just at completionEnsure all work meets Palette Pro's quality standards, project scope, plans, specifications, and client expectationsUnderstand and enforce proper standards for interior and exterior painting, including surface preparation, repairs, protection, priming, application, coverage, cut lines, finishes, and final appearanceVerify that the correct paints, primers, products, colors, sheens, and finishes are being usedInspect remodeling work including demolition, framing, drywall, carpentry, flooring, tile, cabinetry, trim, doors, hardware, and other finishesCoordinate and inspect work performed by plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other licensed trades as applicableVerify dimensions, layouts, elevations, material selections, and installation details before work progressesInspect critical work before it is covered or the next trade beginsMake sure work is completed in the correct sequence to prevent delays, damage, and unnecessary reworkHold painting crews, employees, and subcontractors accountable for workmanship, productivity, cleanliness, and project standardsIdentify deficiencies early and make sure corrections are completed before the project moves to the next phaseEnsure floors, furniture, fixtures, cabinetry, finished surfaces, landscaping, and other areas are properly protected throughout the projectConfirm materials and finishes match approved selections and project specifications before installationMaintain clean, organized, professional, and safe job sites throughout productionConduct detailed quality control inspections and create punch lists as projects approach completionVerify all punch list items are properly completed before scheduling the final client walkthroughMinimize callbacks, warranty issues, and rework through consistent field supervision and quality controlDeliver a finished project that meets Palette Pro's standards for craftsmanship, cleanliness, functionality, and presentationClient CommunicationServe as a professional point of contact of accountability, respect, excellence, and resultsWhat We're Looking ForThe right candidate should have:5+ years of painting, construction supervision, project management, or field management experienceProfessional painting/remodeling experience or strong knowledge of painting/remodeling production is highly preferredKnowledge of interior and exterior painting processes, including preparation, repairs, primers, coatings, application methods, and finishesStrong knowledge of residential remodeling and general constructionExperience managing painting crews, subcontractors, and multiple tradesAbility to read scopes of work, plans, specifications, and project documentationStrong scheduling and organizational skillsExcellent attention to detail and quality controlStrong communication and client service skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyConfidence having difficult conversations and holding people accountableStrong problem solving and decision making skillsComfortable using smartphones, photos, email, project management software, and digital documentationValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to travel between job sites
