Job Summary

As Principal of Technical Talent Strategy, you will have the opportunity to develop a Print-level technical talent strategy and partner with our most senior technologists, business leaders and technical communities. It is a great opportunity to play a critical role in enabling the business to execute against our strategy.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Translate the long-term business and technology strategy, priorities, trends into technical capabilities, competencies, and skills needed to be successful 
  • Partner with the Talent & Learning on ensuring the business needs are reflective in the design and development of programs, curriculum, and learning solutions 
  • Drive the Print Technical Talent Governance (Steering Boards, Technical Development Boards) 
  • Revamp of the Technical Career Path (TCP) – simplify and bring clarity to our technical employees

Education and Experience Required:  

  • First-level university degree; advanced university degree in business preferred. 
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in project management, HR, or Engineering (technical background) and with global projects, or a related field.

Knowledge and Skills:  

  • Deep understanding of best practices and trends in developing technical talent, with a strong track record of translating into an actionable strategy; and driving action across the technical community. 
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships with leaders and stakeholders to drive organizational change within and outside the HR function. Ability to work within constraints and to challenge the status quo. Comfortable with ambiguity and taking part in complex strategy discussions.  
  • Demonstrated ability to drive major initiatives through the organization and influence decision makers at all levels  
  • Strong Business Acumen 
  • Talent Management Strategy 


The pay range for this role is $121,950 to $200,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
