Tracy, Lathrop and Stockton drivers: dedicated reefer runs in five western states, starting at $0.60 per mile.
Fresh out of CDL school? This position takes new drivers, and we will walk you through every step.
What the job looks like
You run between the Central Valley, the Pacific Northwest and Utah.
Mountain passes and winter weather come with this lane, and some customers have long live unloads.
Your paycheck
- Paid $850 per week in training
- $1,500 average per week
- $0.60 per mile to start, raises every year up to $0.70
- 2,800 to 3,000 miles weekly
- Home every two weeks, most holidays at home
- About 40% drop and hook

- "Will getting to orientation cost me money?" No. Your one-way bus ticket is reimbursed and the hotel is on us.
- "What if I get stuck or lost on the road?" Your loads are planned for you and your driver leader is one phone call away.
- "Does my CDL school count?" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
- "Will I be gone for months?" No. You are home every two weeks. Most holidays too.
New CDL? Here is exactly what happens
- You apply, we call you. A recruiter goes over your license and record with you before anything else, so there are no surprises.
- Orientation, up to 2 days. Hotel is provided and your one-way bus ticket is reimbursed. You get $300 for orientation once you are hired.
- 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor. You drive, your mentor rides with you and coaches you on backing, trip planning, logs and fueling. Training pay is $850 per week.
- You go solo. You get your own assigned truck from a fleet that averages 1.5 years old, with 10-speeds and automatics.
Requirements
- At least 21, Class A CDL in hand
- Recent CDL school graduate with 120+ hours, or 6 months of recent driving
- 2 or fewer moving violations in 2 years and no DUI/DWI in 10 years
- DOT physical, hair test and urine test
Once you pass 30 days
