Landscape Designer II
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Landscape Designer II with approximately one year of experience who is ready to continue developing their technical and professional skills. In this role, you will apply your growing knowledge with increasing confidence and independence while contributing to project success and collaborating closely with project managers, designers, technicians, and other team members.
This is an opportunity for someone who is eager to take on greater responsibility, contribute ideas, and develop a deeper understanding of how individual project tasks connect to the broader goals of the team and organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support landscape design and planning projects from concept through completion.
Coordinate effectively with project managers, designers, technicians, and other project team members.
Review work prepared by technicians and provide thoughtful feedback and direction.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and increasingly manage work independently.
Apply design and planning knowledge to identify challenges and propose practical solutions.
Contribute creative ideas and perspectives to improve project outcomes.
Develop an understanding of project standards, processes, and the reasoning behind design decisions.
Communicate project needs, questions, and potential challenges clearly and proactively.
Consistently manage priorities and meet established project deadlines.
Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge, design capabilities, and professional skills.

Qualifications
Approximately 1 year of experience in landscape design, planning, or a related field.
Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, peers, and technical staff.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage assigned tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously develop professional skills.
Demonstrated initiative and an emerging ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
Ability to work with increasing independence while knowing when to seek guidance.
