Pipefitters - Jacksonville, Florida and the surrounding areas
RQ Construction is seeking experienced Pipefitters for future opportunities with our Mechanical team. This posting is for upcoming work at Kings Bay Naval Base, Georgia; Jacksonville, Florida; and surrounding areas. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions become available. All work is performed on military installations and paid in accordance with applicable Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements.
What You'll Do
Pipefitters will lay out, assemble, fabricate, and install piping systems on active construction projects. You'll read plans and specifications, meet applicable codes and quality standards, and follow all required safety procedures.

Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $20.94-$46.25, based on experience

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Pipefitter license, journeyman card, or equivalent experience
- Government, military, or large-scale commercial project experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical pipe installation experience
- Deep underground piping experience
- Boiler and chiller startup/commissioning experience
- Current welding certification
- CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 certifications
