A growing primary care clinic is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Practice Administrator to support operational leadership and ensure the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who understands the complexities of managed care, quality metrics, and clinic operations — and is ready to take on a broader administrative leadership position.

Position Overview
The Assistant Practice Administrator partners closely with the Practice Administrator and clinical leadership to oversee daily operations, optimize workflows, and support strategic initiatives. A strong foundation in managed care, insurance processes, and HEDIS performance is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Support overall clinic operations to maintain efficient patient flow and exceptional service
Supervise and mentor administrative staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
Oversee managed care functions, including authorizations, referrals, and payer communication
Ensure accurate insurance verification, billing coordination, and revenue cycle support
Monitor, track, and improve HEDIS and other quality measures in collaboration with clinical teams
Assist with regulatory compliance, policy development, and adherence to privacy standards
Implement and refine operational procedures to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction
Participate in strategic planning, performance improvement, and practice growth initiatives
Serve as a key point of escalation for patient concerns and operational issues
Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare office setting
At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of managed care and health insurance plans
Experience working with HEDIS measures and quality improvement programs
Proficiency with EHR systems and healthcare office software
Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Bachelor's Degree Preferred (adequate experience may substitute for education)
Preferred Skills
Experience in primary care or multi‑provider outpatient settings
Familiarity with value‑based care and population health models
Understanding of revenue cycle processes and clinic financial operations
Work Environment
Full‑time, on‑site leadership role M-F 8AM-5PM

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting.
