Retail - Solar Sales Representative
Full-Time | Hourly + Commission + Benefits
Position Overview
The Retail - Solar Sales Representative is responsible for engaging homeowners at retail locations, educating them about the benefits of residential solar energy, and scheduling qualified homeowners for in-home consultations with our Solar Consultants.This is a customer-facing position designed for outgoing, energetic individuals who enjoy speaking with people and creating opportunities through meaningful conversations. Success is measured by generating high-quality appointments that result in completed in-home demonstrations and ultimately help homeowners save money through solar.
Responsibilities
- Engage shoppers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Educate homeowners on the benefits of going solar.
- Qualify homeowners based on company guidelines.
- Schedule qualified homeowners for free in-home solar consultations.
- Maintain a positive and professional representation of the company.
- Accurately record appointments and customer information.
- Consistently achieve appointment and performance goals.
Compensation & Benefits
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $55,000–$85,000 annual potential
- Competitive hourly pay + uncapped commission
- Fri-Tue or Wed-Sun
- Morning: (9 AM - 5PM) & Night shifts (1 PM - 9 PM) available
