About the Job

Now hiring local Class A CDL truck drivers based in Richmond, CA, to haul grocery products for our dedicated customer, Whole Foods. Drivers will complete multi-stop deliveries using an electric pallet jack. Candidates must have at least 9 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience to be considered. This is a collective bargaining operation, with union bids on schedules determined by seniority.

Pay

Get paid weekly while averaging $80,000 - $90,000 per year! Earn $33.50 per hour, with overtime after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Drivers are guaranteed a 40-hour workweek.

Schedule

Be home daily with a five-day workweek and 8-to-12-hour shifts! The current opening is a p.m. shift with weekends required.

Equipment

Drive a late-model Day Cab serviced by our skilled maintenance team while hauling product in refrigerated trailers. Assist via an electric pallet jack and use snow chains for the mountains.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 22 years or older
• No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
• No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
• With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
• Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
