Bowser Automotive is looking for a motivated and dependable Lube, Oil & Filter Technician to join our Service Department.
If you're interested in working with vehicles and want an opportunity to learn automotive service and build a career, this could be a great place to start.
Previous automotive experience is preferred, but not required. We're willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
What You'll Do
As a Lube, Oil & Filter Technician, you'll perform routine maintenance services while helping keep our customers' vehicles safe and properly maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform oil and filter changes.
- Perform tire rotations.
- Complete routine vehicle maintenance services according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Inspect vehicles and identify potential maintenance or service needs.
- Accurately document work performed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Manage multiple service tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate professionally with Service Advisors, customers, technicians, and management.
- Follow all dealership, manufacturer, OSHA, and safety procedures.
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, and willing to learn.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
- Previous automotive service experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Self-motivated and dependable work ethic.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic hand tools required to perform assigned services.
Successful completion of required pre-employment screenings is required.
