Title and Summary

Director, Product Development – Crypto Solutions

Our Purpose

Mastercard powers economies and empowers people in 200+ countries and territories worldwide. Together with our customers, we’re helping build a sustainable economy where everyone can prosper. We support a wide range of digital payments choices, making transactions secure, simple, smart and accessible. Our technology and innovation, partnerships and networks combine to deliver a unique set of products and services that help people, businesses and governments realize their greatest potential.

Overview

The Crypto Solutions team within Mastercard's Financial Crimes organization is driving the next generation of risk, compliance, and security solutions that enable financial institutions to safely participate in the rapidly evolving digital asset ecosystem. As traditional financial infrastructure converges with blockchain-based payment networks, the need for trusted, scalable, and intelligent risk management capabilities has never been greater.

We are seeking a Director, Product Development to lead product innovation, strategy, and execution for a portfolio of emerging Crypto Solutions products. This leader will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, translating customer needs into differentiated product capabilities, and accelerating the delivery of solutions that help financial institutions manage risk across digital asset and stablecoin ecosystems.

The ideal candidate is a strategic product leader with a proven track record of building and scaling innovative products in payments, fintech, compliance, fraud, cybersecurity, or digital assets. They possess a strong customer-first mindset, thrive in fast-moving environments, and can effectively influence cross-functional teams to transform complex market challenges into commercially successful solutions.

This role will partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Compliance, Legal, Product Management, and external ecosystem partners to define Mastercard's future position in Crypto Solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping products that protect banks and their customers as financial services continue to evolve toward a more digital, programmable, and interconnected future.

Role

• Lead the incubation and commercialization of next-generation Crypto Solutions products focused on stablecoin security, compliance, and risk management.
• Lead Mastercard's product strategy for protecting financial institutions as traditional financial infrastructure and digital asset ecosystems converge.
• Identify emerging threats, regulatory requirements, and market opportunities within the digital asset ecosystem and translate them into differentiated product capabilities.
• Establish measurable business outcomes, adoption goals, and revenue targets for new product initiatives.

All about you

• Demonstrated ability to drive products from concept through commercialization, including market validation, roadmap development, delivery, launch, and adoption.
• Strong understanding of modern product management disciplines including customer discovery, product strategy, business case development, experimentation, and outcome-based roadmaps.
• Proven experience leading the development and commercialization of cryptocurrency, blockchain, stablecoin, digital asset, or Web3 products, including translating emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, and market opportunities into scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments such as financial services, payments, fintech, banking, compliance, fraud, cybersecurity, or digital assets.
• Ability to influence executive leadership and align stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Go-To-Market organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to executive audiences and external partners.
