Responsibilities may include:

• Review design specifications, build verification plans and develop test cases using SystemVerilog and UVM.

• Debug simulation failures and collaborate various teams to uncover bugs.

• Build and automate flows to improve our verification infrastructure.

• Employ AI-enabled tools and infrastructure to accelerate development

• Taking ownership of meaningful projects and tasks from start to finish.

• Cross-domain collaborations with other teams may include Systems, Analog, Physical Design, SoC, Firmware/Software, and Project Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical or Computer Engineering university program.

• Tools/Languages: Python, Perl, C/C++, SystemVerilog, UVM, Linux/Unix environment.

• Some basic understanding of digital logic and ASIC/IC design flow.

• A curious mind, a passion for problem-solving, and a strong desire to learn.

• Exposure to digital design/verification, Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.

• A portfolio of personal or academic projects that showcase your initiative and technical skills.

• You have strong communication skills to convey complex ideas.

• You are detail-oriented and able to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.

• You are a self-motivated problem-solver who enjoys tackling challenges and debugging to root cause.

Education Requirements:

• In study towards a bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or related field

• For 16-month internships: must be available May/June 2027 - August/September 2028

• Expected graduation date of November 2028 or later.

• 1+ years of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, etc

Qualcomm’s Internship Program

Our interns join world-class teams to help define and build what is next for mobility and the world. You’ll be paired with a mentor with visibility to your project and team, receive support from your manager, and have access to the entire Qualcomm employee community to ensure your success. To round out your internship, we host professional development workshops, social events, cross-functional speaker sessions, and an executive speaker series. In addition to competitive hourly pay and accrued vacation time, you will receive housing stipend to accommodate for the duration of your internship.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$54,600.00 - $103,350.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
