Job Purpose
The Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) is responsible for the education and training of Company products to existing and prospective customers through clinical presentations, product evaluations, ongoing clinical support, and consultative interactions as may be required to maintain and grow the Blue Earth Diagnostic US market. The ideal candidate fosters relationships with key decision makers and maintains core relationships as defined in this document. The CAS will address the identified needs of key stakeholders by providing relevant and compliant clinical and scientific support to ensure appropriate education regarding radiopharmaceuticals and disease state.
This position will focus on the territory encompassing the West region which includes the following states: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, CO, UT, AZ, and SD. The ideal candidate for this territory would be located in Phoenix, Denver, or Seattle.
The salary range for this position is $125,000–$150,000 annually.
Main Responsibilities, Activities, Duties and Tasks
Conducts comprehensive product evaluations and timely clinical follow-up at target accounts consistent with business plans.
Attends first scans and follows up per business requirements to assure customer service expectations are being met.
Provides product training and presentations ensuring customers can properly, and effectively optimize product utilization.
Initiates and develops contacts with existing and potential customers.
Develops and maintains relationships with KOLs, imaging administrators, and site technical staff.
Maintains thorough and up-to-date knowledge of imaging techniques, clinical information, and product data within the relevant diagnostic and radiopharmaceutical arena.
Develops and implements on-site training programs for appropriate use of BED products for PET customers and prospective customers.
Works collaboratively with Area Sales Directors, Strategic Account Managers, and Regional Sales Managers to ensure customers have a positive experience with the company and its products.
Collaborates in the creation and implementation of Territory Business Plans aligned with business strategy specific to the assigned region.
Attends national congresses and meetings and as requested, provide commercial support in compliance with industry regulations. Gain and share knowledge from educational sessions
Contributes to development and implementation plans to increase market share in existing accounts.
Contributes to the development and maintenance of accurate account profiles utilizing company tools.
Effectively manages time through territory management techniques, systems, and other company resources.
Collaborates on effective account targeting to assure successful product conversions.
Provides clinical/technical customer and sales support as well as a consultative resource for BED products through:
Aligns with BED business marketing and sales strategies, both regionally and nationally.
Contributes to the development of sales strategy and tactics within target accounts.
Understanding of current health care economics with regard to the BED market.
Participates in on-label product demonstrations and discussions.
Implements approved educational presentations.
Acts as internal (sales) and external (customers/prospects) resource for BED product and modality.
Cooperates with marketing to identify and collect case studies that are relevant to approved indications.
Networks with prospects, customers, professional societies, OEM representatives and ultrasound industry to promote BED products and offerings at local, regional and national trade shows and conventions.
Maintains up-to-date and accurate T&E/sales records by utilizing Concur and the CRM respectively; comply with company policies and procedures.

Professional Experience, Knowledge, & Technical Skills
A candidate with clinical experience that includes knowledge of nuclear radiography with appropriate imaging or medical credentialing is highly preferred.
Industry experience includes a minimum of at least five years in either/or:
Clinical Applications experience in nuclear radiography.
Nuclear imaging technologist/nursing position with experience in a hospital or nuclear medicine imaging center.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Registered nuclear medicine technologist preferred
Must be a licensed driver without restrictions and able to drive a car
Field Sales Credentialing demands various vaccinations and background check requirements. Candidates have to comply with all credentialing obligations, including a 10-panel drug screen, in order to have access to the medical facilities conducting business with Bracco.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The position is field based
Ability to travel up to 70% (approx. 10-12 overnights per month)
Some weekend work is required for sales meetings and industry related events and conventions.
