Your Role: Blending Technician
As a Technician, Bio/Pharm Production, you will support vaccine manufacturing operations by setting up, operating, and troubleshooting production equipment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely producing vaccines in accordance with product specifications, current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards, safety requirements, and site procedures while incorporating continuous improvement initiatives such as LEAN.
Your Responsibilities:
Perform aseptic production activities including weighing, measuring, calculations, sampling, and verifications in accordance with batch production records and cGMP requirements.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment and ensure equipment, instruments, and materials are released and available for use.
Oversee production processes, cleaning, environmental monitoring, and perform in-process batch quality checks according to written procedures.
Complete required production documentation, update standard operating procedures (SOPs), write deviation reports, and perform transactions within electronic inventory management systems.
Support continuous improvement by identifying and contributing ideas to improve workplace processes, quality, safety, and operational effectiveness.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or a related field; OR Associate’s Degree plus 2 years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience: Basic knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and biological production processes, including biological equipment such as fermentation, centrifuge, and concentration units.
Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and follow batch records, quality and safety requirements; basic computer skills including Word, Excel, electronic management systems, and applicable ERP systems.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred qualifications):
Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing processes and cGMP requirements.
Experience with production equipment and biological manufacturing processes.
Experience with SOPs, deviation reporting, and electronic documentation systems.
Strong quality orientation, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and continuous improvement initiatives such as LEAN.
