Right now, we’re looking for an Asset Officer to join our team of specialists in Head Office. As the Asset Officer you will be responsible for overseeing service contract management, compliance and auditing BFS Children's Services. Working closely with the Facilities and Procurement Manager, you will assist in the management of planned, capital and reactive maintenance activities and ongoing management of assets within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the formulation of asset and maintenance management plans
- Collate and organise asset management and maintenance priorities
- Contribute effectively to business performance, and the delivery of systems and processes.
- Influence a culture of decision making informed by data
- Assist in procurement activities such as preparing quotation requests and assessment of submissions
- Coordinate and consult with external service providers and suppliers
- Coordinate the submission of grant funding applications for capital works (i.e. Community Grants, CBP Funding)
- Assist in preparation of and adherence to capital budgets.

- Evidence of completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course
- Details of a minimum two referees, where one must be a manager or supervisor at your current or most recent workplace.
