Description
Spare Parts Engineer
Join a fast-growing technical service team and help optimize global spare parts strategies for energy storage and transformer substation systems. Your role will be key to ensuring operational efficiency and supporting the energy transition.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze installation and failure data from global energy systems to inform inventory strategies.
- Identify critical components based on failure rates, lifecycle, and environmental conditions.
- Convert EBOM and MBOM technical documentation into actionable spare parts lists.
- Develop exploded views and assembly instructions in collaboration with suppliers.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, maintenance, and logistics teams to make data-driven inventory decisions.
- Plan and introduce new spare parts for product launches, including documentation and stock levels.
- Coordinate optimization projects based on customer-specific requirements.
- Participate in product variant groups and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Support the development of tools, dashboards, and scalable structures within the service organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical, service-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Experience with power electronics such as batteries, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
- Ability to read and interpret EBOM/MBOM and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven skills in inventory forecasting, stock management, and lifecycle tracking of spare parts.
- Strong analytical, structured, and problem-solving mindset.
- Effective communication skills in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
