Job Description Summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Generator Stator Design Liaison Engineer (DLE) Leader to lead technical support for stator manufacturing operations at our Schenectady, NY facility. This role serves as the primary interface between generator design engineering and manufacturing, ensuring design intent is effectively translated into safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production outcomes.

The DLE Leader will lead a team of engineers supporting generator stator components and manufacturing processes, including armature core, armature winding, armature core steel punching/lamination, armature bars, control hardware & instrumentation, mechanical packaging and stator assembly. In this role, you will partner closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical issues, improve manufacturability, and support execution across the product lifecycle of GE Vernova’s 50 Hz and 60 Hz air-cooled, hydrogen-cooled, and liquid-cooled generators.

This position requires strong technical judgment, cross-functional leadership, and a consistent shop floor presence. Flexibility to support operations across rotating shifts, as needed, is required.
