Description
Purpose
The Commercial Enablement Manager is the analytical and technical partner for MISP, bringing commercial data to life down to the sub-national level. The role connects technical data work to business logic through decision-ready visualisation, ensuring data is understandable, actionable and maintained for ongoing use rather than creating dashboards for their own sake.
Key responsibilities
- Translate prioritised questions from CE&I Managers and the Commercial Performance Manager into reusable datasets, dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Connect approved backend sources, including customer relationship management, territory, incentive compensation, sales, promotional activity and channel/campaign performance, using enterprise tools and governed access.
- Build and maintain decision-ready views for sales and CFC effectiveness, including sub-national sales versus promotional impact, calls, customer engagement planning, targeting and execution-quality measures.
- Provide data and views that support the segmentation process run by CFC Excellence, using approved enterprise methodology and data products.
- Investigate discrepancies across source systems, local views and GOSC outputs; lead detailed resolution with backend data, platform, IT and source-system owners.
- Maintain clear definitions, refresh logic, quality controls, lineage and known limitations, and track whether data products are used in business decisions.
- Use approved AI tools to accelerate querying, anomaly detection and reporting, prepare data for capabilities such as dynamic targeting, and guide Data/AI contractor delivery.
Accountable for
- Local dataset, dashboard and reporting delivery
- Technical translation of business questions
- Data discrepancy investigation and backend-team coordination
- Data/AI contractor priorities
Works closely with

Role flexibility
Where business needs require, this MISP-level role may be asked to take on a secondary hat as CE&I Manager for one MISP market, as agreed with the CE&I Lead and PX. When assigned, the role holder also carries the full local accountability described in the CE&I Manager profile, kept distinct from the MISP accountabilities above.
Qualifications and experience
- Hands-on experience with enterprise BI and data platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku or Snowflake, plus SQL.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical commercial data structures, including CRM, territory, incentive compensation and sales.
- Ability to connect technical output to business logic and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
- AI and data-governance awareness with strong problem-solving skills.
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience in pharma or a comparable regulated industry.
Leadership expectations
- Business Acumen, Leading Change, Decisiveness and Building Effective Teams are critical.
- Accountability, Developing Others and a One Pfizer mindset are highly weighted.
- Use approved AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, quality and decision-making.
