At Seven Retail, we're looking for a operations cost control & commercially minded finance professional who goes beyond financial reporting to drive brand profitability and end-to-end cost efficiency.
As our Finance Business Partner Manager, you'll take ownership of the brand's financial performance, overseeing everything from day-to-day operational expenses, inventory, and warehouse costs to marketing budgets, campaign ROI, and overall P&L optimization. Working closely with Operations, Marketing, and other business stakeholders, you'll turn financial data into actionable insights, challenge spending decisions, and ensure every investment contributes to sustainable business growth.

Your Day-to-Day
- P&L & Financial Performance: Own brand P&L monitoring, analyze financial performance, identify profitability gaps, and drive corrective actions.
- End-to-End Cost Control: Monitor and optimize costs across daily operations, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and other operational expenses.
- Campaign & ROI: Oversee campaign budgets, evaluate campaign performance, and conduct post-campaign analysis to assess ROI and spending effectiveness.
- Budgeting & Business Partnering: Manage budgets and forecasts, challenge spending assumptions, and partner with Operations and Marketing to improve financial outcomes.
- Performance Improvement: Identify cost inefficiencies, strengthen financial controls, and implement initiatives to improve margins, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
Who We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in operations cost, commercial finance, financial controlling, finance business partnering, cost management, or related roles.
- Proven experience in P&L ownership, cost control, and profitability improvement.
- Strong understanding of operational costs, ideally covering inventory, warehousing, logistics, or retail / e-commerce operations.
- Experience evaluating marketing expenditure, campaign performance, and ROI is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and business partnering skills, with the ability to challenge spending decisions and translate financial insights into action.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; experience with financial modeling and business performance dashboards is a plus.
