Description
Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Software Tester to join our team in Portsmouth, VA.

Predicate Logic also has offices in Chesapeake, Virginia, specializing in communications engineering, training, and Cybersecurity, and in Charleston, South Carolina, supporting the Navy and Marine Corps programs through Naval Information Warfare Center Charleston.
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
- Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solve technical problems related to engineering.
- Assure that the product and its manufacturing process meet quality and safety standards.
- Test equipment to make sure the manufacturing process operates effectively and safely.
- Interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens.
- Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and Agile team members to identify defects, validate software fixes, refine requirements, and ensure high-quality software delivery. Experience with C#, ASP.NET, Blazor, Kubernetes, Nutanix, and containerization preferred.
- Evaluate system behavior and maintain traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
- Create test plans and traceability matrices.
EDUCATION:
- Five (5) years of professional experience to include 3 years of application software testing.
- High school diploma, related military experience, trade/industrial school graduate or GED.
- Software testing certification is desired but not required.
