Description

Job Summary

The Distribution Channel Account Manager (DCAM) drives revenue growth across ProdataKey’s distribution network by increasing branch engagement, strengthening product knowledge, and helping turn dealer opportunities into sales. This role serves as the primary contact for day-to-day distributor support and works closely with sales representatives and marketing to ensure branches are equipped, responsive, and actively promoting PDK.

The main objective of the DCAM is to increase revenue per distributor branch by improving engagement, training, responsiveness, and pipeline conversion. While ProdataKey’s distribution network continues to expand, consistent execution at the branch level remains a key opportunity for growth. Gaps in training, follow-up, communication, and ongoing partner engagement can limit distributor performance and leave potential revenue unrealized.

The DCAM addresses these challenges by serving as the operational and enablement lead for the distribution channel. Through consistent branch engagement, distributor support, and sales enablement, this role helps ensure partners have the knowledge, resources, and support needed to generate dealer opportunities and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Our DCAM role is focused on six core areas that directly impact channel performance:

  • Distributor Activation and Engagement: Build relationships with branch managers and inside sales teams, onboard new locations, and re-engage inactive or underperforming branches. Ensure distributor branches understand PDK’s products and are equipped and motivated to actively promote and sell them.
  • Dealer Pipeline Generation and Conversion Support: Collect and track distributor-generated dealer leads, coordinate timely follow-up with Partner Success Managers and outside sales representatives, and help move opportunities through the sales pipeline to conversion.
  • Training and Product Advocacy: Deliver ongoing product and sales training, encourage participation in online training, and equip distributor teams to confidently position, recommend, and promote PDK.
  • Channel Operations and Execution: Respond to distributor inquiries, assist with purchase orders and reporting, and coordinate inventory needs to maintain product availability and responsive distributor support.
  • Marketing and Branch-Level Growth: Coordinate branch-level promotions, incentives, and campaigns; support the use of marketing materials; and gather distributor feedback to improve marketing execution and engagement.
  • Performance Tracking and Insights: Track branch engagement, training participation, dealer leads, conversion rates, response times, and inventory availability to identify growth opportunities, address performance gaps, and recommend improvements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Organizational Impact: Manage day-to-day channel operations, including distributor communication, lead tracking, training coordination, and inventory follow-up, allowing channel leadership to focus on strategic partnerships, corporate relationships, channel expansion, and high-value business opportunities.
  • Business Case: Improve channel performance by increasing distributor engagement, product adoption, dealer lead generation, and conversion rates while reducing missed opportunities through timely follow-up and improved inventory management. Track performance metrics to identify opportunities for operational improvements and more effective use of the existing distribution network.

Measures of Success

Success will be measured by revenue growth per branch, increased distributor engagement, dealer leads generated and converted, training completion, timely partner support, and consistent inventory availability.

This position strengthens execution throughout the distribution network while creating capacity for leadership to focus on strategic partnerships, channel expansion, and long-term growth.
