Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Warehouse & 3PL Operations Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain, the Warehouse & 3PL Operations Manager role involves managing high-volume warehouse operations and third-party logistics (3PL) providers in a manufacturing environment, ensuring best-in-class performance in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics execution, supplier quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The role will serve as the primary leader overseeing warehouse and 3PL operations, driving service levels, inventory accuracy, productivity, compliance, quality performance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain network.

 

What a typical day looks like:

• Lead day-to-day warehouse and 3PL operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective receiving, storage, inventory control, material handling, shipping, and distribution activities.
• Own the operational performance of internal and outsourced warehousing providers through KPI reviews, SLA management, performance scorecards, governance routines, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle count programs, physical inventories, reconciliation processes, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Optimize warehouse productivity, labor utilization, space management, throughput capacity, and operating costs while maintaining world-class customer service levels.
• Develop strategic partnerships with 3PL providers, ensuring alignment with Flex operational, quality, and customer requirements.
• Lead customer complaint investigations, inventory-at-risk management, non-conforming material reviews, MRB participation, and supplier corrective action processes (CAR/SCAR).
• Monitor and improve warehouse, logistics, quality, and supplier performance metrics through data analysis and operational reviews.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety requirements, Flex policies, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse, operations, and quality teams, fostering a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives to improve service, quality, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost performance.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Quality Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).
• Senior experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Extended leadership experience managing large operational teams and/or third-party logistics providers.
• Strong experience managing warehouse outsourcing models and 3PL relationships, including operational governance, contract compliance, KPI management, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance improvement programs.
• Proven track record in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics execution, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, automotive, medical, aerospace, or other high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory control methodologies.ISO 9001 quality systems and audit processes.Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and CAR/SCAR management.
• Inventory control, logistics operations, and supply chain best practices.
• Advanced data analysis and KPI management.
