Responsibilities
The following statements are intended to describe the major elements and requirements of the position and should not be taken as an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of an individual assigned to this job. The Radiology Receptionist/ File Clerk perform clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients. Other duties include, but are not limited to, filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records. The Radiology Receptionist / File Clerk should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology. This person should demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner. Maneuvers through reception area, as well as, outside storage area. Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. 1 year experience in receptionist work.
2. Knowledge of terminology of Radiology tests preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
