Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control - Driver in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, monitoring activity, and providing exceptional customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive transportation location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vendor entry, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Observe entry and exit points, vehicle gates, parking areas, and restricted areas for unusual activity, and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, vehicle storage areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
