The purpose of this Support Service is to provide technical support to the Engineering Services Section and the Test Facilities and Laboratories Section across multiple technical domains, ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and development of the Test Centre's facilities, infrastructure, and test capabilities.

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at the interview stage).

ATG is dedicated to diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer. Regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, handicap, or any other reason protected by relevant state or municipal legislation, we are pleased to consider all eligible candidates for employment.

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:

  • Support the planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of test campaigns within laboratory and test centre facilities;

  • Assess the technical feasibility of testing activities and contribute to the definition of suitable test configurations;

  • Perform field-of-view (FoV) assessments and support the selection of appropriate test equipment, instrumentation, and hardware;

  • Configure, install, and prepare test equipment in collaboration with engineering teams, laboratory personnel, and external service providers;

  • Coordinate resources, logistics, and operational activities required for the successful execution of test campaigns;

  • Prepare and coordinate work schedules and shift plans for testing activities when required;

  • Act as Test Engineer during test execution, monitoring activities and ensuring compliance with technical, operational, and safety requirements;

  • Support a variety of laboratory and environmental test activities, including thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing, high-speed recording, and measurement campaigns;

  • Process, analyse, and interpret measurement data, including infrared (IR) imagery and other test results;

  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, presentations, and recommendations related to test activities and outcomes;

  • Coordinate maintenance and calibration activities for laboratory equipment and instrumentation through external suppliers;

  • Serve as the technical point of contact between laboratory users, engineering teams, and calibration or maintenance service providers;

  • Organise and manage equipment logistics, including shipment, collection, return, and tracking of instruments undergoing calibration or maintenance;

  • Perform in-house calibration activities in accordance with approved procedures, work instructions, and established calibration cycles;

  • Generate calibration certificates, reports, and supporting documentation for calibrated equipment;

  • Support interlaboratory comparisons (ILC) and other proficiency-testing activities, including monitoring and documenting performance results;

  • Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, inspections, and equipment status;

  • Update and manage equipment inventory and asset information within the Infor EAM database, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

Please ensure that your CV clearly explains how you meet the mandatory requirements. If it doesn’t align completely with the essential criteria, it could result in rejection.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Physics, Aerospace, or a related technical field;

  • At least 4 years of experience supporting laboratory testing, calibration, maintenance, or technical operations;

  • Experience working in controlled laboratory and clean-room environments; familiarity with contamination-control procedures and ISO 14644 clean-room standards would be considered an asset;

  • Experience preparing technical documentation, including test reports, calibration certificates, and technical records;

  • Ability to analyse and document test and calibration results;

  • Knowledge of calibration, metrology, and measurement principles, including the use of laboratory instrumentation and test equipment;

  • Experience coordinating activities with internal stakeholders and external service providers;

  • Ability to meet applicable security and export-control requirements and obtain security clearance where required;

  • Familiarity with equipment databases or asset-management systems (e.g. Infor EAM would be an asset);

  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously;

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
