As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and use technology to document observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare and research locations, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
