The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Tricentis Administrator to support enterprise test automation and quality engineering across a sophisticated SAP and federal technology landscape. In this role, you will help ensure that the Tricentis Tosca platform remains secure, stable, scalable, and optimized for delivering high‑quality automated testing. You’ll collaborate with SAP experts, test engineers, cybersecurity teams, infrastructure specialists, and business stakeholders to advance enterprise testing maturity, strengthen governance, and accelerate delivery of reliable mission‑critical solutions.

Responsibilities:

As a Tricentis Administrator, you will:

  • Administer and maintain Tricentis Tosca Server across development, test, and production environments—including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and environment support.
  • Manage user provisioning, authentication, permissions, and access controls using Tricentis User Administration (TUA), ensuring compliance with organizational security policies.
  • Configure and support SSO/LDAP integrations and invite‑based onboarding workflows to guarantee authorized user access.
  • Implement and maintain authorization structures, including folder‑based group hierarchies, role‑based access, and permission inheritance for developers, testers, and auditors.
  • Administer licensing for Tosca Commander and Tosca Cloud License Server (15.2+), including activation and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Manage LiveCompare Test Repository Cache configurations, including workspace strategies, CTRC workflow execution, and cache overwrite prevention in multi‑pipeline environments.
  • Monitor system performance, utilization, logs, and failed executions; diagnose platform issues and coordinate resolution.
  • Support integrations between Tosca and SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, SAP SuccessFactors) as well as APIs and cloud‑based sources.
  • Maintain connectors, service accounts, credentials, and SAP‑related access mechanisms to ensure stable test automation.
  • Establish and uphold platform governance standards for test promotion, naming conventions, documentation, version control, credential management, and production support.
  • Partner with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to meet audit, compliance, backup, recovery, and continuity requirements.
  • Manage migration of test assets and workspaces across environments.
  • Create and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, support guides, and platform documentation.
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for Tricentis incidents, including SAP Support case creation through SAP for Me.
  • Support license administration and usage tracking for Tosca Commander, Tosca Server, and related components.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and automation developers to troubleshoot test execution performance, data issues, and server-side automation challenges.
  • Recommend platform improvements to enhance scalability, automation, reliability, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Participate in release planning, testing activities, and change management processes.
  • Ensure data quality and auditability within automated test workflows and quality engineering products.
  • Provide end‑user support and training on test publishing, scheduling, execution, and best practices.
  • Contribute to Agile team activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and platform enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active U.S. DoD Secret.
  • Ability to meet DoD 8140 requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in application administration, test automation platform support, or quality engineering systems administration.
  • Experience administering Tricentis Tosca Server and supporting Tosca Commander users in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Tosca Server configuration and maintenance
    • User/security administration in Tricentis User Administration
    • Test scheduling, execution monitoring, and workspace oversight
    • Troubleshooting test failures and performance issues
  • Working knowledge of SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP BTP) and SAP-integrated test automation scenarios.
  • Experience supporting integrations between SAP enterprise data sources and automated testing workflows.
  • Familiarity with authentication tools such as Okta, Active Directory, and SSO/LDAP.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of federal IT security standards and ability to operate in classified or controlled environments.

Desired:

  • Experience in DoD, federal, or highly regulated environments.
  • Tricentis Tosca or SAP Enterprise Continuous Testing certification.
  • Familiarity with SAP Enterprise Continuous Testing by Tricentis, including SAP KBA guidance (e.g., user registration restrictions, Okta SSO integrations).
  • Experience integrating Tricentis User Administration with Okta SSO in enterprise or federal environments.
  • Background supporting test automation in SAP-driven environments such as finance, logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
  • Experience working with cloud or hybrid Tosca environments.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and ticketing solutions such as ServiceNow or Splunk.
  • Exposure to Agile frameworks, including SAFe.
