Summer 2027 U.S. Commercial Internship

Overview

If you're a college student, Pfizer Futures is your chance to gain real-world, impactful work experience for 10-12 weeks during the summer. This U.S. program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to grow and develop into the next Pfizer Colleague.

 

With opportunities across the Enterprise, Pfizer Futures interns will support their division's goals and initiatives while building relationships and learning about Pfizer.

 

The 2027 Pfizer Futures application portal will be open from October 5th to November 8th, 2026.

 

Applications and placements for this program are reviewed on a rolling basis. Interview and hiring timelines differ by division.

Responsibilities

The Pfizer Commercial Business helps bring innovative medicines and vaccines to patients by combining scientific expertise, medical insights, and commercial strategy. Through engagement with healthcare professionals, health systems, and patients, the organization supports informed healthcare decisions and advances patient care.

Examples of Past Projects:• Medical Channel Strategy and Engagement Intern — developed medical channel strategy for HCPs across social, third-party, and Pfizer-owned channels, including LLM-related strategies.• Sr Associate, Institutional Contracting — supported Institutional Contracting Brand IV contracts for Oncology and Ig therapeutic areas.• Future of Pfizer Patient Services — assessed the patient services landscape and developed strategic recommendations.• Global Pricing Summer Analyst — supported enterprise pricing governance, risk management, and the Global Pricing system.• Commercial Strategy & Development (I&I/IM Pipeline) — supported commercial development and operational initiatives for pipeline assets.• Vaccines US Medical Affairs Summer Intern — supported literature searches, medical/scientific slide development, and Medical Affairs projects.

 

 

Other information:• Eligible Pfizer Futures interns in this division will be eligible to apply for a rotational program opportunity in the Fall.• Internship start date: Tuesday, June 1, 2027

Minimum Qualifications

• Be immediately authorized to work in the U.S. This Program cannot support applicants who require employer sponsored visas now or in the future.• Be an undergraduate student enrolled in a full-time university program (an accredited college / university degree program at the time of application)• Be at least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date• Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA as of the most recently completed semester. Note: For R&D roles, a minimum GPA of 3.3 is required.• Be able to commute to a Pfizer location 4+ days a week. Please note, some lab/manufacturing roles may require additional on-site days

Preferred Qualifications

• Studying applicable degree (Communications, Marketing, Business, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Management, Data Science, Data Analytics, Pharmacy, Public Health, STEM)• Junior students preferred

The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, educational degree obtained, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law.

In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.

 

Pay Rate Range: $26/hr to $29/hr
