Description

Teaching Tomorrow are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Key Stage 1 Supply Teachers to work across primary schools in Bedfordshire on an ad hoc, day-to-day basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for flexible working arrangements, whether you are seeking additional teaching days, a better work-life balance, or the opportunity to experience a variety of primary schools. As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2).
  • Follow lesson plans and school policies effectively.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently.
  • Support pupils' learning and wellbeing throughout the school day.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners.
  • Liaise professionally with school staff and provide feedback where required.
  • Ensure pupils remain engaged and learning objectives are met.

About YouWe are looking for teachers who are:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experienced in teaching within Key Stage 1 / primary education.
  • Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
  • Confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour.
  • Adaptable, reliable and able to settle quickly into new school environments.
  • Professional and approachable, with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work flexibly across different schools and respond to ad hoc bookings.
