Pick and Packaging Operator - office based in Harlow, Essex, UK.

As a Pick and Packaging Operator at ICON, is responsible for the execution of accurate picking, packaging, and preparation of materials and products for shipment.

The Pick and Pack operator plays a key role in ensuring customer requirements are met and products are dispatched on time and in accordance with company procedures.

This role will be an office based role in Harlow, Essex, UK.

What You Will Do:

Key responsibilities include:

• Pick materials and products accurately against orders, pick lists, or system-generated instructions
• Inspect products and packaging for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly
• Carry out inventory transactions and stock movements using warehouse systems
• Pack products to the required standards, ensuring appropriate packaging materials are used
• Load, unload, and manage conditioned gel packs and temperature-control components within designated cold rooms, refrigerators, and freezers to support the preparation of temperature-controlled shipments
• Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labelling and documentation where required
• Ensure all activities are completed in compliance with company SOPs, quality requirements, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment• Operate warehouse equipment and material handling equipment where trained and authorized

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant supply chain and procurement experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related area, preferably in a global or multi-site environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.
• Solid knowledge and experience of relevant warehouse, logistics, and inventory management systems (e.g. PMD, COMET, Modula, RAMOS, SAP, or equivalent systems)
• Demonstrated ability to follow SOP’s and understand and action when issues should be escalated·
• Transportation and Packaging knowledge and understanding
• Effective Communicator, written and verbal
• Customer and people focused with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
