Técnico de Calidad

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Técnico de Calidad. Add sentence or two about what the business does/manufactures.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

## What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

A. Audits the manufacturing process to ensure controls defined in Control plan are followed up accordingly, reducing the process variation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

B. Problem solving based in 8D

C. Elimination of quality issues by documenting and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

D. Production line support

E. Reduction of quality issues

F. Perform and Follow up to LPA process

G. Ensure LPA process by auditing process and monitoring the compliance of the audits, and updating the Checklist

H. End product audit.

I. Communicate quality issues to production line.

J. Scrap and Non conforming material control

K. Monitor and assurance of the SPC is being used accordingly to the procedures

L. Evaluate the capability of the processes to maintain and improve the quality levels

M. Update on time the quality metrics

N. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.

O. Promotes the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.

P. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.

## Qualifications:

A. Technician Level or related fields required. Engineering bachelor’s degree in process

B. 1 year experience in similar area.

C. Yellow Belt Certification is a plus

D. PC use and office software knowledge

E. IATF 16949/ISO 9001 criteria, EQMS criteria

F. Problem solving methodology (8Ds)

G. MSA, PPAP, Control Plan, AMEF,SPC and use of Infinity QS

H. All areas of inspection such as techniques, principles, procedures and know how.
