Client Advisory Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a data-driven professional with polished presentation skills and a flair for building strong client relationships. The Client Advisory Manager is an ideal role for individuals who enjoy diving deep into market trends and delivering impactful insights. You will play a key role in conducting market research, analyzing data, and providing our clients with the necessary insights to make sound business decisions. Your ability to understand and address client needs will help our team foster long-term partnerships and drive success.

The Client Advisory Manager will play a big role in turning market research into strategic analysis and recommendations for law firms by using qualitative and quantitative research to provide custom market reports for law firms looking to drive brand enhancement, differentiation, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Research and Analysis:

• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on various topics pertinent to client needs
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative research methods to interpret data
• Prepare detailed and insightful reports, presentations, and executive summaries

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency
• Build and maintain strong and enduring client relationships by understanding their objectives and providing tailored solutions
• Communicate regularly with clients to update them on research progress, findings, and any relevant industry trends

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with internal teams to align research efforts with client goals
• Collaborate with Client Advisory colleagues to share insights and best practices
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and strategy sessions
• Stay current with legal industry trends, market developments, and emerging research methodologies

Advisory Services

• Support senior members of the team in delivering business consulting services to law firm clients, as analytical and reporting responsibilities permit

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Market Research, or a related field
• 3+ years of work experience in an analytical role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to instill confidence, build trust, and cultivate client relationships
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• A JD, MBA, or other graduate degree
• Law firm or other legal industry experience
• Client-facing consulting or internal advisory experience
• Proficiency in research tools, software, and databases
• Familiarity with Thomson Reuters’ Market Insights platform

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $74,200 USD - $137,800 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
