Job Summary
Schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Sunday through Saturday, with scheduled days off on Monday and Tuesday. Rotating holiday coverage required.Summary
Responsible for maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and appearance of a hospital or healthcare facility.
Patient Care Required: No
Essential Functions
Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
Clean walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and glass surfaces.
Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish supplies as needed.
Remove debris from building grounds and surrounding areas.
Operate high- and low-speed floor care equipment, including stripping and buffing machines.
Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and routine hospital activities.
Identify and report building maintenance needs within assigned areas.
Follow established safety, infection control, and departmental procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
