Financial Accountant II (Treasury)

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant ll (Treasury) to join our Financial team at our Global Support Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and post journal entries related to cash activity, bank fees, transfers, interest, accruals, reclasses, CAM reconciliations, and other assigned general ledger accounts.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and/or monthly bank reconciliations for assigned bank accounts and ensure reconciling items are identified, researched, and resolved timely.
• Investigate cash discrepancies, unidentified transactions, returned items, stale outstanding items, and bank-to-ledger differences in partnership with Treasury, Accounts Payable, Revenue, and other stakeholders.
• Support treasury activities such as cash movement tracking, initiating ACHs and wires, confirmation of transfers, and documentation of banking activity, as assigned.    
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts and ensure documentation is complete, supportable, and audit-ready.       
• Assist with accounting system upgrades and implementations as needed
• Assist with CAM reconciliation project activities, including review of landlord statements, comparison of charges to lease terms and prior accruals, preparation of supporting schedules, and follow-up on discrepancies.
• Assist with SOP documentation and other projects as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

• Requires a BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and at least 3 years of progressively responsible accounting, or financial operations experience. Restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other high-volume multi-unit experience is strongly preferred. 
• Strong Excel skills are required.  Workday, Tango or other Lease Accounting software skills are a plus.       
• Demonstrated process improvement experience       
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail when working with cash, banking activity, and financial transactions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to partner across Treasury, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Revenue, Real Estate, and other functions'
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with appropriate confidentiality and professional judgment.

Location: 

This is primarily an office-based position located at the P.F. Chang’s Global Support Center in Scottsdale, Arizona 85255. Candidates must currently reside in the greater Phoenix area and live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
