Description
On behalf of our client with offices in Dubai, we're looking for a Performance Creative Manager to join their team of professionals on a Remote basis.
About the Company:
Our client is a performance-focused company running paid search, paid social and display for clients who watch their cost per acquisition daily. They work with international, multi-market clients who spend seriously on media, and they also build software and place development teams. It's a business where design is measured by what it does to the numbers, not just how it looks.
About the Role:
You will own two things end to end: the acquisition journeys their clients run, everything that happens between someone seeing an ad and becoming a customer and the creative that feeds those journeys: display, video and copy.
This is hands-on and client-facing in equal measure. Some weeks you'll be in Figma building it yourself; other weeks you'll be on a call explaining to a client's team why their application form loses half its traffic on step two. Most of our client's customers spend well on media and still lose people somewhere between the ad and the confirmation page, closing that gap is what this job is for. You'll report straight to the CEO, with the autonomy to build the design function as the business grows.
What you'll do:
Acquisition Journeys -
- Walk the full path from ad click to conversion and say plainly where people drop out and why
- Redesign landing pages, forms and checkout steps in Figma, with specs a developer can build from without a follow-up call
- Make the ad and the page say the same thing, a lot of the loss is here
- Set up tests worth running, then leave clients able to keep running them
Banners & Display -
- Produce display and social creative for Google, Meta, Yahoo and TikTok, to spec, in every size the platform asks for
- Build concepts as systems, so a resize, a translation or a seasonal refresh doesn't mean starting again
- Work in static, animated and HTML5 formats, including dynamic and responsive assets
- Keep each client's brand intact while giving each platform what works there
Video -
- Take video from brief to finished file: scope it, find the supplier, agree the money and the deadline, then see it through
- Keep a bench of editors, motion designers, videographers and footage sources you trust
- Direct short-form vertical work that still reads with the sound off, and get the cut-downs each platform needs
- Stay on top of licensing — no paying twice for the same track
Ad Copy-
- Write headlines, hooks, primary text, descriptions and calls to action across search, social and display
- Build separate angles for separate audiences, structured so a test actually tells you something
- Keep copy accurate and compliant — several clients operate in regulated markets
Testing & AI -
- Run creative tests and report what moved cost per acquisition; retire work that isn't performing, including your own
- Use generative tools for image, video and copy where they genuinely speed things up — you decide where they don't, and you own the quality either way
What you'll bring:
- Around 5 years in design for direct response: paid social, display, landing pages (agency or in-house, both fine)
- You've redesigned acquisition flows and can show the conversion numbers before and after
- You've made banner and social creative at volume, across platforms and sizes
- You've commissioned and managed video, including budgets, suppliers and deadlines
- You write ad copy and can point to tests that backed your version
- Advanced Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, plus enough motion and editing skill to brief properly and fix small things yourself
- You already use generative AI tools in live client work and have a view on where they fall short
- You read creative performance data and design tests that give a clear answer
- You can sit with a demanding client, take the criticism, and still hold your position when you have the evidence
- Fluent written and spoken English — you'll present your own work
- You've delivered remotely before, without anyone checking on you, and can overlap a few hours a day with the Gulf working day for client calls
- No degree required
Nice to have:
- Experimentation tools such as VWO or Optimizely
- Enough HTML and CSS to specify accurately, plus After Effects or similar
- Both e-commerce and lead generation behind you
- Regulated sectors, financial services especially
- Arabic, or experience adapting creative into other languages
- Design systems, and managing freelancers or junior designers
Where you're expected to be in the first six months:
- Month one: through every client's journey and live creative, with the problems named and the first fixes shipped
- Month three: creative tests running across accounts, a video supplier bench in place, and a production process that doesn't depend on you being awake
- Month six: conversion rates up, creative cost per acquisition down, and clients asking for you by name
What is Offered:
- Competitive package
- A direct line to the CEO — decisions take hours, not weeks
- International clients and a genuinely wide brief: design, video and copy all sit with you
- Permanently remote — no relocation, no return-to-office plan
- Budget for tools, licences and freelance help, plus an equipment allowance
- The design function is yours to build as the business grows
