Bluestar Moving Services is seeking a dependable and motivated Team Lead to guide our field team in assisting seniors and families through life transitions such as downsizing, relocating, and organizing their homes.

We are looking for candidates seeking part-time work who have flexible availability to work full days Monday through Saturday, as projects are scheduled. Assignments vary based on client needs, so candidates must be able to accommodate full-day projects rather than only short shifts.

About the Role

As a Team Lead, you'll oversee field operations during client projects. You will guide support associates through move planning, downsizing, packing, and organizing. You'll also serve as the on-site point of contact, ensuring projects run smoothly and clients feel supported and respected throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate team members during on-site projects

• Act as a liaison between the client and Bluestar leadership

• Assist clients in sorting belongings and deciding what to keep, gift, donate, or discard

• Safely pack fragile and high-value items for transport or storage

• Ensure the team follows safety and quality standards

• Monitor progress and delegate tasks to complete projects within established timelines

• Resolve minor conflicts or client concerns calmly and professionally

• Model compassionate, respectful, client-centered service

Qualifications & Requirements

• Flexible availability to accept part-time assignments Monday through Saturday, including full-day projects of up to 8 hours

• Ability to remain available for the full scheduled assignment

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Willingness to travel to client homes within the designated service area

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods

• Previous team lead or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage timelines and delegate effectively

• Calm, patient demeanor with a focus on client needs

• Initiative, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Prior experience in senior services, moving, or customer care is a plus

• Monday–Saturday Scheduling: Projects may be scheduled on any of these days; this does not mean employees work all six days each week.

• Scheduling Flexibility: Some projects may be assigned with short notice.
