As an OCT CMP Mfg. Alignment (MA) Engineer/Sr Engineer at Micron, you will ensure flawless operation and improvement of manufacturing tools and processes. Located in Taiwan, this role offers an outstanding chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Your contributions will be key to achieving our world-class standards.
## Responsibilities:
- Improve tool utilization to meet outstanding (BIC) standards by accomplishing processes that eliminate low utilization tools and enable cost savings through cold/warm shutdowns.
- Generate globally aligned warm shutdown procedures that ensure safety and seamless recovery to production.
- Standardize practices and best-known methods (BKMs) across process areas by setting up global alignment teams and crafting a library of BKMs for equipment and process engineers.
- Align and integrate Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures across the Micron network, ensuring accessibility and efficiency through a standardized system.
- Deploy and sustain SEAL system BKMs globally, ensuring critical processes are standardized and maintained.
## Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering role, with a focus on tool and process optimization.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a group setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain alignment with various collaborators.
## Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with global standardization of manufacturing processes.
- Experience with SEAL systems and Preventive Maintenance (PM) protocols.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to mentor and guide teams to success.
