Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and policy violations.
• Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and pedestrian traffic while assisting with access control procedures and directing individuals according to location guidelines.
• Support government location operations by communicating with site contacts and/or public-facing personnel regarding security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and incident response needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
