Position Objective/Purpose:
Manage the inputs and outputs of the various MROs and equipment, maintaining accurate inventories and the various items and tools handled within the area. Responsible for the receipt of materials and their location.
Reception and delivery of materials corresponding to production requisitions, aligned with teamwork and continuous improvement.
Authorities:
Consult FMI-143 for individual standard operating procedures related to management system authorities/responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities:
• Serve local suppliers.
• Assign material locations based on their designation.
• Fulfill requisitions from the Asset and Glovia systems.
• Fulfill MSC machine requisitions.
• Perform equipment transfers in the Asset and Glovia systems.
• Deliver equipment to different departments based on procedures.
• Conduct inventories of the various MROs.
• Conduct inventory of shorts and notify purchasing.
• Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of inventories.
• Monitor production requirements.
• Process scrap in Glovia.
• Maintain the 6's in their work area.
• Including all activities inherent to the position.
• Ensure compliance with and ensure that the personnel under their charge comply with each of the points considered within the code of conduct (ethics) of Spellman de México, S.A. de C.V.
• Comply with the Health, Safety, and Environment Policy, following the procedures and instructions applicable to their activities.
• Comply with the Health, Safety, and Environment Policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to their activities for participation in the established Objectives and Goals.
Skills and Abilities:
Weighting/Level: (1-Basic, 2-Intermediate, 3-Advanced, 4-Specialized)
• Educational Level: High School
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the tool crib area.
• Knowledge of tools (drills, drill bits, countersinks/augers, screws, washers, etc.) (Advanced)
• Experience with Glovia and Asset (Advanced)
• Knowledge of FIFO (Advanced)
• Cycle counting strategy (Advanced)
• Experience operating a forklift (Advanced)
• Basic skills and knowledge of lifting heavy loads (Advanced)
• Microsoft Office (Advanced)
• Knowledge and understanding of Environmental and Quality Management Systems, in their current versions (e.g., ISO 14001, 9001).
• Knowledge and understanding in Environmental & Quality Management Systems in their current versions (e.g. ISO 14001,9001).
