As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Jamaica, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer for a dynamic public transportation location. This driving post involves conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, responding to concerns, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.20 - $22.20 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of bus facilities, parking areas, transit access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
