The Food & Beverage Reservation Agent is responsible for managing all restaurant and private dinner reservations in a professional, accurate, and guest-centric manner. The role aims to maximize restaurant occupancy, ensure seamless coordination with outlet teams, and deliver an excellent first point of contact for guests by efficiently handling reservations through Open Table and KEY or other approved communication channels.
Job Responsibilities
Handle all Food & Beverage reservations using Open Table/KEY, ensuring accuracy in guest details, timing, preferences, and special requests.
Monitor reservation flow and seating availability to optimize table utilization.
Update, modify, and cancel reservations as required, ensuring real-time accuracy in the system.
Act as the first point of contact for guests via phone, email, and internal systems, maintaining a courteous and professional tone at all times.
Accurately communicate outlet concepts, operating hours, menus, and special events to guests.
Record and communicate guest preferences, dietary requirements, celebrations, and special requests to the respective outlet teams.
Create guest profiles on Open Table
Liaise closely with restaurant managers, hosts, and service/Kitchen teams to ensure smooth guest flow and seating arrangements.
Communicate daily reservation summaries, VIP guests, and special arrangements to relevant team.
Support outlets during peak periods by proactively managing waitlists and reservation adjustments.
Administrative & System Duties
Maintain clean and accurate reservation records within Open Table.
Generate basic reservation reports when required.
Follow established SOPs related to reservations, guest data confidentiality, and service standards.
Compliance & Standards
Adhere to company policies, brand standards, and grooming guidelines.
Ensure all guest information is handled with confidentiality and professionalism.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reservation systems (OpenTable experience preferred)
Guest-focused mindset and professional telephone etiquette
Special Requirements
Has 1 -2 years of relevant experience in 5 star hotels/resorts or reputable stand alone restaurants
Possesses excellent English, math and psychometric abilities
Possesses aptitude and upward mobility.
Technical education in Hospitality Management is preferred
Basic wine knowledge preferred
