The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

40Position Overview
The Supply Chain Driver ensures the safe and efficient transportation of medical supplies, equipment and perishable goods to various healthcare facilities and business locations. This role secures the loading and unloading of cargo, maintains vehicle readiness through daily inspections and upholds strict regulatory standards. The Supply Chain Driver also provides essential support to warehouse operations when needed to ensure the continuous flow of supplies across the organization.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1 year of professional driving experience, preferably in a delivery or logistics environment.
Other Credentials: Drivers License
Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated time management and organizational skills to reasonably ensure on-time delivery schedules. Natural ability to apply deductive reasoning to resolve logistical challenges or delivery delays. Proficiency in basic computer operations for documentation and communication. Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers.
Special Training: Certified (or capable of certification) in power pallet jack and forklift operation. Proficiency in secure loading and unloading techniques including proper tie-down and weight balancing procedures. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred.
Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proven capacity to maintain focus and efficiency within a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Obey all applicable traffic laws and strictly comply with truck driving rules and regulations
Perform comprehensive pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects, accidents or violations immediately
Perform daily vehicle maintenance, including refueling and cleaning, and ensure any mechanical issues are corrected before vehicle operation
Load and unload box trucks safely, utilizing electric pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment as required
Secure, arrange and balance cargo within the vehicle to ensure safe transport and verify all loads for accuracy before departure
Identify and prioritize perishable materials and urgent medical supplies, ensuring prompt delivery and proper notification to receiving entities
Maintain strict delivery schedules and provide reliable transportation of critical equipment during emergencies or urgent requests
Maintain accurate delivery records, documenting supply types, delivery times, and destinations to ensure supply chain transparency
Interact with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner
Provide active support to supply chain operations when not engaged in driving or safety inspections
Perform other duties as assigned
