What You’ll Do
- Deliver an outstanding, welcoming experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
- Consult with customers on their needs—asking thoughtful questions, listening carefully, and recommending the right products, strains, and formats.
- Share expert product knowledge on cannabis flower, edibles, concentrates, and infused products.
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately, and keep your assigned cash register balanced.
- Protect customer privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.
- Use our seed-to-sale software and follow individual purchase limits and all state and local regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training on cannabis concepts, sales techniques, and new products.
- Perform opening and closing duties, attend daily pre-shift meetings, and help with inventory as needed.
- Keep the dispensary and your work area clean, organized, and on-brand.
- Communicate regularly with the General Manager and Supervisors, and be an ambassador for Swade at all times.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in high-volume retail, customer service, or sales.
- Prior dispensary or cannabis industry experience is a big plus—but a great attitude and willingness to learn matter most.
- Genuine passion for cannabis and for helping people.
- Able to sit or stand for long periods (4+ hours).
- Able to bend, squat, and reach overhead.
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Pay: $16.50–$17.00 per hour.
- Insurance: Health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life—individual employee premiums covered 100% by the company.
- Dependent premiums are covered at 50%
- Retirement: 401(k) with company matching.
