Job Title: Assistant Warehousing Manager
Grade: WL1
Location: Karachi Head Office
The role:
Oversee warehousing and repacking operations in the most cost-efficient manner while maintaining established quality standards. Drive continuous process improvement and operational excellence, while fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive work environment for all employees.
What you'll be responsible for
Supervision of all TMICC warehousing and distribution networks (ambient, chilled, frozen).
Monitoring of warehousing operations and stock control.
Supervision and control of domestic transport and distribution activities.
Supervision and control of all re-packing operations.
Finding and implementing new and more effective processes and ways of working.
Monitoring of procedures and instructions in execution by 3rd party companies.
Proposals and negotiations of agreements with 3rd party companies.
Price negotiations with 3rd party companies
Tender for logistics services preparation and execution.
Cost control of warehousing, transportation, re-packing and customs services.
Co-operation with Unilever European Logistics Team (USCC)
SCE KPIs - Key Performance Indicators designing and reporting.
Acting according to the Health and Safety Standards and Employer procedures.
Participation in budgeting process and budget execution
Execution of warehouse lease and sub-lease contracts
We’re looking for someone who
Has 3-5 years working experience in warehousing / transportation.
Has practical knowledge of warehousing, transportation and customs issues.
Hands-on Experience of ERP/WMS/SAP
