About the role
Take the lead in a fast-paced, customer-focused Trade environment where relationships, results and teamwork come together. As a Department Manager - Trade, you’ll shape how our commercial customers experience Bunnings, driving growth, building capability and leading a team that delivers every day.

This role includes a minimum of 1 in 3 weekend roster and some public holiday work is required.
What’s involved
This role gives you the opportunity to:
Lead & develop a team to deliver a consistent, knowledgeable and efficient experience for trade customers
Build strong relationships with key customers while driving sales through effective merchandising, strong availability and meaningful customer engagement
Work closely with Trade Specialists and the wider store team to deliver a seamless end-to-end experience
Use customer insights and feedback to improve service and strengthen long-term customer loyalty
Manage rostering, stock flow and day-to-day operations to keep everything running smoothly
Support community and local business connections that help grow your customer base
Who we are looking for:
You’re someone who enjoys leading from the floor and supporting your team, connecting with customers and making things happen. You understand what great service looks like in a trade environment and take pride in delivering it consistently.
You bring a collaborative mindset, working closely with others to solve problems and deliver results. You’re comfortable balancing day-to-day operations with longer-term thinking, and you enjoy building strong relationships that make a difference.
What you’ll need
Strong understanding of customer service and commercial outcomes
Lead by example in safe work practices and ensure team members follow correct procedures
Be able to approach, connect and confidently interact with customers and teams
To act with integrity, be safe and do your best
An ability to prioritise tasks & meet deadlines in a fast environment
