What you’ll own
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain front-end and back-end applications that support internal and external client solutions.
- Analyze business and technical requirements, create functional specifications, and deliver high-quality code across multiple platforms and technologies.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, validation, and production support to ensure application reliability, performance, and security compliance.
- Collaborate with business partners, clients, vendors, and technology teams to deliver scalable software solutions and application enhancements.
- Contribute to development standards, code quality initiatives, effort estimation, technical documentation, and mentoring of junior engineers.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development, coding, application design, and data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in one or more enterprise technologies such as Java, Python, .NET, Ruby, COBOL, or other modern programming languages, with exposure to both front-end and back-end development.
- Experience working with APIs, web services, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Knowledge of modern web technologies including JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, HTML, and related frameworks, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
It’s a bonus if you have
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience with IBM Rational tools and enterprise-scale applications.
- Exposure to payment processing systems, PCI compliance requirements, cloud platforms, machine learning technologies, or large-scale distributed systems.
