Revenue & Business Analyst

The Revenue & Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting revenue optimization, business intelligence, reporting, and automation initiatives across the organization. Reporting to the Director and serving as a key backup within a lean analytics team, this role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing dashboards, reports, algorithms, and automation tools that drive commercial decision-making.

Reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Analytics and Data Enablement, the ideal candidate should combines strong analytical capabilities with practical business acumen and technical proficiency in SQL and Power BI. This individual will manage day-to-day reporting activities, support continuous improvement of existing analytics solutions, and help ensure data-driven insights are delivered accurately and efficiently to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports supporting revenue, pricing, sales, inventory, and operational performance.
• Create new reports and visualizations based on evolving business requirements.
• Monitor data quality, report accuracy, and dashboard performance.
• Deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting requests for business stakeholders.
• Assist in documenting business metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards.

Analytics & Revenue Support

• Support maintenance and ongoing refinement of existing business algorithms and analytical models.
• Analyze business performance trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Validate data outputs and investigate discrepancies across reporting platforms.
• Provide analytical support for pricing, inventory, sales, and revenue optimization initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders to translate operational needs into analytical solutions.

Automation & Application Support

• Assist with maintenance and continuous iteration of internal automation applications.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of enhancements and new functionality.
• Document workflows, business rules, and application requirements.
• Coordinate with IT, development teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Operational Support

• Serve as backup support to the Director for reporting, dashboard management, and analytics operations.
• Manage recurring reporting processes and ensure timely delivery of critical business insights.
• Support special projects and strategic initiatives across Revenue Analytics & Data Enablement.
• Maintain organized documentation of data sources, processes, and reporting methodologies.

Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business analytics, revenue analytics, business intelligence, or related analytical roles.
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying and validating large datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including report and dashboard development.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience supporting pricing, revenue management, sales analytics, or commercial operations.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience with automation platforms, workflow tools, or low-code applications.
• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or enterprise reporting systems.
• Experience working within aviation, aftermarket, distribution, or industrial environments.
