Essential Functions:
- Manages and analyzes IT operating and capital expenses, develops and maintains budgets, forecasts, multi-year financial plans, and variances, and supports vendor negotiations. Provides ad hoc support for strategic decisions, investment prioritization, and ensures alignment with policies and regulatory considerations.
- Oversees and optimizes cloud spending across multiple vendor platforms. Analyzes usage patterns, reserved instance commitments, savings plans, and rightsizing opportunities. Partners with cloud and engineering teams to implement FinOps best practices.
- Develops dashboards and reports to provide visibility into cloud cost drivers. Creates executive-level financial reports and dashboards for IT leadership.
- Manages software licensing for very large vendors, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency. Analyzes licensing utilization and recommends optimization strategies. Monitors contract renewals, true-ups, and licensing changes.
- Develops analyses for initiatives, including clinical systems, infrastructure upgrades, analytics platforms, and digital health solutions. Partners to define financial assumptions and benefits realization plans. Tracks post-implementation benefits to validate projected ROI.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field, required.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial data for technical and executive audiences.
- Presentation, Budgeting, Analysis, Financial planning, Reporting.
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in IT financial management, technology finance, or financial analysis, required.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud billing and cost management, required.
- Strong experience with Microsoft licensing models, preferred.
- Demonstrated experience building ROI and business cases for IT projects, preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modeling and forecasting, preferred.
