Who we are looking for
We are looking for a KYC Specialist. You will join the Italy OFAC, AML , KYC team. Your primary role will be to support the Business Units in the timely and accurate delivery of AML/KYC process for onboarding new customers/accounts, completion of periodic reviews and event driven reviews in line with State Street’s AML Policy Standards.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As KYC Specialist you will:
- Perform Know Your Customer due diligence in line with applicable AML Policies, Standards & Procedures, prior to account openings and on an on-going basis
- Review and track CDD documentation for all clients
- Complete the necessary forms required to support CDD
- Notify local management of operational issues
- Engage with other State Street offices in providing updates and in delivering reports
- Meet agreed KRI / KPI targets for KYC profile reviews, and/or agreed targets for quality assurance reviews, escalating when required
- Supervise and review status reports for senior management.
- Verify profiles prepared by Associate 1 with regards to quality and required detail.
- Manage training projects related to new tools, systems and processes.

- Knowledge of English
- Intellectual curiosity for continuous learning around AML and KYC
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills – ability to keep meticulous records,
- Ability to supervise other staff and to participate in the process to ensure work is completed accurately and timely
- Ability to communicate confidently, efficiently and clearly in both written and verbal forms
- Flexibility in reprioritizing tasks
- Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Economics or background in financial industry
- Good English level is an advantage
Additional requirements
- Minimum four years Operations related work experience
- Direct experience in the financial industry

Minimum Salary:
€40 000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the successful candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to base salary, employees may, subject to applicable local laws, company policies, and plan terms, be eligible for a country-aligned benefits package and may be considered, at the Company’s sole discretion, for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
