The Vice President, Programme Delivery & PMO is responsible for establishing and growing a Programme Delivery capability within the Poland or India GCC. The capability will initially support service transitions, strategic programmes and change initiatives within GBS. Over time, the role will help shape how programme delivery capability can be used more broadly across GBS, ensuring the team remains flexible, relevant and aligned to evolving business priorities. The role is accountable for leading complex programmes and transitions, building stakeholder confidence, driving effective change management, and developing a high-performing delivery team. The role is crucial in shaping global GBS programme management methodologies, operating models, governance frameworks, tools and career frameworks. It is responsible for trusted, high-quality delivery of transition and other projects that are critical to the success of our GBS organisation, which is in a substantial growth phase.

What you will be doing:

  • Build the team, capability, reputation and trust within GBS and with our customers.
  • Lead service transitions into the GCC and ensure successful mobilisation, stabilisation and benefits realisation. Deliver committed transition projects into the GCC so that they land on time, to cost and quality expectations, and with a strong customer experience.
  • Act as a trusted partner to customers considering transitions, strategic programmes or change initiatives.
  • Build credibility for the Programme Delivery capability and help shape a sustainable pipeline of work aligned to business priorities.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communications and change management activity required to ensure programmes are adopted, embedded and deliver sustainable outcomes.
  • Act as a senior point of leadership for strategic, cross-functional and non-BAU programme activity within the Global Capability Centre.
  • Provide programme leadership for strategic initiatives beyond transition activity, supporting the development of a scalable programme delivery capability over time.
  • Own portfolio visibility, prioritisation, dependency management and capacity planning for programme delivery activity within the GCC, ensuring resources are aligned to the highest-value business priorities.
  • Establish clear governance, reporting and operating rhythms for programme delivery, including senior stakeholder updates, risk escalation, milestone tracking and benefits visibility.
  • Drive continuous improvement in programme delivery practices, using data, lessons learned and standard methods to improve delivery confidence, transparency and outcomes.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Programme Delivery team within the GCC.
  • Coach and develop talent within centrally defined people and capability frameworks.
  • Work in close partnership with the GBS Service Management organisation to deliver an integrated customer experience.
  • Support consistency of service delivery, governance and reporting across both Poland and India GCCs.

What you will need:

  • Typically 12+ years' experience in programme delivery, transition, transformation, GBS, Shared Services or Global Capability Centre environments, including experience leading complex programmes and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Significant experience in a Global Business Services, Shared Services or Global Capability Centre environment.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale transition projects (e.g. multi location, multi function)
  • Experience operating in large, complex and highly matrixed multinational organisations.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
  • Ability to navigate organisational complexity and governance without losing delivery momentum.
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and writing in English

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting GCC growth and scale-up activities.
  • Experience managing multi-country programme portfolios.
  • Professional qualifications such as MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, MoP or P3O.
  • Experience within aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or similarly complex global organisations.
  • Experience running or working closely with operations in a GBS, Shared Services or Global Capability Centre environment, with an understanding of the operational challenges associated with transition,stabilisation and service delivery.
