Description
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the pricing and development of medical products and pricing exercises, balancing growth, competitiveness, profitability, and risk management considerations.
- Partner closely with other data and analytics teams to translate advanced data insights into actionable business recommendations, supporting claim cost sustainability, provider optimization, and improved health outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with Health Proposition, Provider Management, Case Management, and Health Transformation teams to shape, evaluate, and deliver health strategies, from concept through execution.
- Contribute actuarial insights to broader health initiatives, including claim cost sustainability, underwriting strategy, and rule design, with a focus on sustainable earnings, portfolio quality, and new business value creation.
Required Qualifications:
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability combined with strong technical actuarial skills
- Ability to respond to changing demands from multiple stakeholders and prioritize needs and results
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience with health product development and reinsurance would be an asset
